I'm looking for advice to solve one idea: I have a properly translated (i18n) nodes and by default comments would be shown for each language (node, of course) separately. But the idea is to show all/any lang. comments under any node lang. version.

Where to look? Views? How to couple it with i18n in this case then?

I'm looking exactly for the same.

Are you using the native comment system? I'd like people to be able to leave anonymous or use other credentials too.

Not yet but there is a tip for D6 wich which involves hacking core though (nasty!): http://drupal.org/node/1027354
