Civik is a theme based on Rubik (and Tao) that adds an interactive sliding menu that is intuitive to use by moving the mouse to the left of the screen show the menu or tapping the left edge of the screen on a touch device. Inspiration for Civik was posted as a 'Fubik.zip' as a comment on an issue queue to resolve Rubik's lack of left and right hand columns, however Civik is a formalised, supported and maintained solution.

Civik is also designed to interact seamlessly with CiviCRM and to allow closer integration of CiviCRM and Drupal.

This guy has come onto Vent 4 times now looking for a way to get this approved.

@ceptyr - this seems like an interesting solution. How do you think it compares to using the Admin module which adds a dynamic menu to the left of the site?

A quick comment:

Your .info references jQueryUI version 1.7.3. This theme will need a readme.txt file to explain that the end user needs to download this specific version of jQueryUI (min'd, even) and place it in the scripts folder of this theme.

Another option is to, instead, require the end user to install and enable the jQueryUI module (http://drupal.org/project/jquery_ui). In that case, you won't even need to hard reference jQueryUI in your .info file.

style.css is using tabs instead of two spaces. Just needs to be updated to use two spaces instead of tabs (http://drupal.org/coding-standards#indenting)
