My apologies for posting this, I'm uncertain how to effectively search to find whether this issue has been talked about before.
I've created a top-level book page that I want as my home page (most of my site will be a book with three locales). I have also created two translations of this page that work very well with the select language/locale switch block when I am logged in as adminstrator. HOwever, when I log out and am "Anonymous", I cannot switch to the translated versions of the page; I get "Access Denied."
What am I missing? I can't find any reference to "access control" for these nodes or for the Anonymous user.
Thanks again!

You have to grant anonymous user to "access localizer " privilege.
