I'll look at it, maybe a good way to learn php, seems quite simple to understand.

I think this module is so important that I would be willing to contribute/sponsor/support the upgrade to drupal 5, as I unfortunately have no php knowledge.

aren't there more people interested in seeing this great module in drupal 5?!

From the CVS messages: "Removed the HEAD 'branch' Development is continued in the 5.x branch."

Could you please backport the fixed issues to the 4.7.x development version as well?

I don't have time to backport all the improvements. Please isolate the bugs and features you think are crucial for a new 4.7 release and I will commit them.
