Resizing videos in different contexts

It appears that maybe this issue in d6 http://drupal.org/node/547226 is also in d7...
I am not able to create different video sizes for the different places a video appears through views (sidebar vs content area for example). Perhaps this is a bug, perhaps just documentation issue?
