I'm using solr, and this module return and empty result, perhaps it only works with the std search?

The code uses the core do_search() function to perform the search, but nothing special has been done to account for a Solr environment. I'm happy to include a feature like this, but unless it's a trivial patch (or someone provides me one), it's unlikely to happen very soon.
