Hi,

I know that there was an option to check the current version of a drupal site. But I can't find it.
Can someone tell how to check it?

see this posting (better search next time :-)

so, if you deleted the changelog file (as you should IMHO) there is no easy way. you could look at the the date of the files and see the recent version of drupal at that time or take a look at the screenshots of the admin interface.

if you downloaded drupal in the last 5 month or so and are not a bleeding edge type of person, you most likely run 4.4.x

No, I've drupal running for more than a year and it's 4.3.0

I didn't find it because I was looking for something else, something looks like index.php?q=version behind the url. (but this link didn't work)

Because I thought that drupal has a special option for checking a drupal version.

I slip a comment into my database (in the system table) noting the version I'm running. That way, I never have to hunt to find out which I'm on.
