There is a wealth of information on drupal.org that never fails to impress me. I'm grateful to everyone that contributes by asking/answering questions and posting new ideas.... one of the best aspects of using Drupal is the active community from which I learn so much. My goal is to generally follow everything posted on drupal.org, a process which is going to be harder the larger our community grows.

I'd like to know how folks keep up to date on what is posted on drupal.org. I do the following regularly:

  1. I save links to posts that are of particular interest to me (like Issues views for module I have installed or am interested in) and review all of these regularly.
  2. I check the 'my recent posts' page for replies to things I've posted
  3. I open http://drupal.org/tracker and review all posts since I last opened it... usually once per day when I skim through all posts looking for items of interest posted during the last 24 hours. (BTW, it would help to have a column listing the related project rather than just a type column on tracker...)
  4. Use search for specific topics as needed.

Anyway, are there other methods people use?

It would be nice to be able to subscribe to posts and be notified by email when they get up dated. The way it works at the moment makes it impossible to easily keep track of post you're interested in.

I agree that a subscription option would be nice. Also a third list on the 'Recent Posts' page of posts you are watching.

I watch out for drupal news in my RSS reader (bloglines.com).
