Term Fields unavailable in view without a Page Display

Issue Summary

I struggled to find Term Fields in my Term view (with default and 3 Block Displays), but wasn't able to actually find them until I added a Page Display.

I couldn't either find my custom term field (a select list) in Views until I created a dummy Page display, removed it, and saved the view (my view and its displays were already setup when I enabled this module)

I performed some tests but didn't success to reproduce such bug.

Same issue - Process in #1 worked

Drupal 6.22
Views 2.12
Term Fields 1.16

To reproduce:
Created a view with one block display
Enabled Term Fields Module
Edited View - no term fields available

I do not have such issue with 2.x DEV version.
If you have the time to test the upgrade, it would help me to decide if is it safe enough to create a first 2.x release.
Do not forget to create a backup of your database and do not test on a production environment.
