I have just installed and enabled the module. I do not see the Pages on the drop down menu of Site Building. When I select Panels, I get the Panels Dashboard. I have Panel Pages link there but when I click I get "access denied" even though I have admin right and I made adjustments in the permissions section.

You do realize that the 'Pages' link is owned by a module called 'Page Manager', right?

I have installed it in another server and it worked fine. My conclusion is that one of the other modules that we have preventing "pages" module work. Now how can I find out which one?

You'll have to disable the other modules, and see which one is causing the problem.
