Problem: when I enable Scheduler and then create a blog entry, if add info to schedule publishing, 1) when I Save I get a blank page that comes up (http://www.mysite.org/node/add/blog) and 2) I can’t edit the item – I get a blank page when I click to edit it (e.g. at http://www.mysite.org/node/293/edit). I have to disable the module to be able to edit the item.
If I have the module enabled, and I create a blog entry but don’t schedule, I still get the blank page http://www.mysite.org/node/add/blog once I’ve saved, but, I am able to edit the item. I don’t care about this particulat blank page coming up particularly – just thinking it’s troubleshooting info.
I am running Drupal 6.20 and Scheduler 6.x-1.4.
Any idea why this could be happening?

jonathan1055 commentedYes, I would say look at http://drupal.org/node/516514, particularly the bit which says "WARNING: This release is broken. Do not use 1.4. Release 6.x-1.5 will be available in a matter of hours, maybe tomorrow (2009/07/13). Sorry for the inconvenience."
Then upgrade from 1.4 to the latest D6 version which is 1.8

@Jonathan: We should put a note on the project page to remind people to update to the latest if they have problems with their current version. Posting issues for two year old releases is not a good idea.
@Mary: Please update to 6.x-1.8 and check if the problem persists. Please report back in either case so that we know if we need to act on this problem.

learningalchemy commentedPlease excuse my error - I am running 6.x-1.8. I installed this a couple weeks ago using the latest version available.

eric-alexander schaefer commentedI think scheduler interferes with some other module. Which modules do you have installed?
eric-alexander schaefer commentedA completely blank page is usually the result of some kind of error with error reporting disabled. You could follow the advise at http://drupal.org/node/158043 to turn on error reporting to get some possibly helpful message.

eric-alexander schaefer commentedWhat's the state on this? Any progress? Problem fixed?

monstordh commentedI'm having the same/similar problem. If I enable the date popup option for Scheduler, I can't create any new nodes. I only get the white screen of death. All of my modules are up to date.

jonathan1055 commentedClosing this as it cannot still be an active problem after 20 months with no reply from the users.
