Hi thanks for the module,

Ive built mysite on my localhost using acquia stack. I installed drupal on a live site hosted with hostgator. After uploading all modules and themes I crated a backup of my localhost and restored my live site using that backup.

However my live site is having problems loading uploaded files, such as user pictures. I tried reconfiguring the file path, and have tried uploading new pictures, but my site just doesnt display any uploads.

Try to upload the whole drupal setup files using FTP client and change the database connection string in sites->default->settings.php

Are you sure this is B&M related? Did you have the site running on the host before the restore?
