pathauto taxonomy
hello,
i try now one week to find a simple navigation for drupal, thats why i try to find support here.
Cause we have 2007 , urls generated by pathauto or similar has to be.

I found only one modul works together with pathauto: sitemenu.
But sitemenu is a menu always open, not collapsed.

What didn t i see ?
What way can i go to get a simple menu using the great taxonomy system of drupal in a menu ?
To use urls like www xxx.tld/taxonomy_term/1/2 is definitely not usable nowadays.

Is there a menu module i didn t see or a hack to make possible to use drupal with a menu using taxonomy and pathauto ?

Hi there,

I'm currently facing the same issue.
What I found so far is:

http://drupal.org/project/taxonomy_context
http://drupal.org/project/globalredirect

Using my Taxonomy for my ubercart store, it should display everything in a grid layout view, using the nice URLs, received by pathauto and show all items from sub categories.

It looks as if this is impossible with Drupal.
Hopefully I'm wrong and someone can point us to the correct way to go.

Digging in the dark since a week now :(
