Admin received email when user signed up as follows:
A reservation for the Epson scanner has been made by %name.
Start time: %start
End time: %end
Note: no name, start time or end time were actually specified.
Rewrote confirmation email text on settings page, booked use of resource and did NOT receive a confirmation email at user address. Appropriate settings checked on admin page - "require email verification", "show unconfirmed bookings" and "set to final w/o admin approval" (supposedly still requires email confirmation). Admin received same nonsense email above. Also noted that admin email was sent to old address, not new address entered in settings page.
Booking shows as "unconfirmed". Website is using Mime Mail to process outgoing mail. Works fine for other email, including HTML formatting.
What am I missing? This is useless of user can't reconfirm email and get passphrase and other information.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedThansk for the bug.
Would it be possible for you to update to 3.x or (at least) 1.x-dev? It is quite possible that this bug is already fixed

OK, here is an update on the problem.
I had another user make a reservation and send me the emails he received. Everything seemed to work correctly, including the formatting changes I made to the email messages.
As admin I received another copy of the letter as I described above, without name, etc and it was sent to the wrong admin address.
Then I received 2 copies of the finalized confirmation email that the user received without any details. These were sent to the correct admin address. So as admin I have received 3 emails and have no idea who registered and for what time slot unless I go to the bookings admin page.
I also have no clue as to why when I logged in as a different user from my own PC and made a booking, I received no emails. I suspect there may be an admin cookie hiding somewhere on my system but don't know why that would make a difference.
I will upgrade to 3.x and see if it solves the problem and let you know. Thanks.
UPDATE as of 4/5/2011 My bad!! The messages to me as user were ending up in my SPAM folder and I failed to look there. So that now agrees with the messages received by the other user. I will do the upgrade and see if it solves the problem of the strange admin message.
