Ajaxify with Views block and jCarousel

I love the idea of using ajax to create cached pages using auth_cache. I can't however seem to get my blocks working - it stays in a "loading" state. The dynamic block is created with Views 2 and generates a jCarousel view containing thumbnails linked to nodes. The only javascript error I receive is:

Should I add a javascript function in modules/ajaxify_regions/js/ajaxify_regions.js and if so, which one? jcarousel_add(); didn't do the trick.
