How to backup Outlook Express email folders and settings

I want to reinstall Windows Xp soon, as I got a virus and after cleaning the computer doesn't work as smooth as before. I gives some strange erros and sometimes it justs hangs up... I want to backup Outlook Express emails and settings before reinstall, and restore afterwards. Any help?

There is a feature in MS Outlook for backing up your messags. Go to File -> export and follow the instractions.

PS. There is no connection between drupal and outlook, or am I missing something :)

Make sure your search

Make sure your search includes hidden & system files then search for *.dbx & *.wab files.
Back these up then you may use "import from store folder".
Be sure to make a note of all your pop3 & smtp settings too.
