Hi all
I´m new to Drupal and I´m starting a new website
I´m setting the desgn of this site with the skinr2 but when I click on the cog and select "edit skin" it gives me a 404 error
I´ve been looking for a solution to this, and I found more people with the same problem as mine, but never find a solution
I don´t know if this is a problen of config, if I have to edit the .info file (the starting theme is acquia slate), so please, can someone help me?
I´ve been reading documentation of skinr but I don´t known where the problem exactly is
I believe in drupal, thats why I started to make my new website with it. I need a litle bit of help
Thank you

moonray commentedWhat is the URL for that page that gives you the error?

Undead commentedThanks for your reply!

there is no content posted, only a sample text in a promoted page, and using a non persolilized banner yet (I don´t want to upload content till I have a minimum of the site designed)
my ver of drupal is 6.20
I work from a Macintosh, if it helps
Comment #3
moonray commentedI meant: what is the URL in your address bar after you click on the cog's "edit skin" link?
Undead commentedOoops!
Ok, ok, here it is. Sorry
url at the address bar doesn´t vary, safari and firefox displays a system popup window that reads:
"An error occurred at /admin/build/skinr/edit/ajax/page/1.
Error Description: 404: Not Found"
(last direction may vary depending the cog you click, i. e. An error occurred at /admin/build/skinr/edit/ajax/block/block-2.)
I send you an screenshot

Undead commentedHere is the screenshot
Comment #6
moonray commentedThe URL looks correct.
Have you tried clearing your menu cache? A 404 Not Found error should not occur if the module was properly installed.
Undead commentedWhere is exactly this menu cache cleaning option?
I can´t find it
(I think you don´t mean the browser cache)
Unless you refer to admin/settings/performance. clicked there, error persists
Comment #8
moonray commentedTry installing devel module. This should give you the ability to easily clear your menu cache.
Otherwise you can always do it manually (do a search to find out how).

moonray commentedNo further info; seems resolved.
