I think this module needs to get a little more abstract with its offerings of HCARD support. I would like to see a more generic set of functions that developers can use to wrap hcard details. For example, geo-based sites the use of HCARD microformat goes beyond just needing an hcard block for a site, but imagine a list of addresses and an hcard is discovered for each entry (nodes in a view).

I'm willing to co-maintain. I will at least supply a design/patch of what I'm seeing in my noodle.

In a way I think theme_hcard() can get me what I want today, but is it the best option moving forward with the example I provided above?
