Considering that your end goals align with those of the Import HTML module (importing static content into Drupal), I might suggest seeing where you cats can work together :)

I freely admit that I've never used Import HTML module, but my first thought was that you seemed to have some things in common (though not extensively). But perhaps both modules are different enough that neither could do anything for the other -- not sure!

The maintainer of Import HTML (dman) actually seems to be pretty gung-ho about working with others, so I'm sure he's easy to approach :)

I appreciate the comment, this was exactly what I expected to encounter because the end goals of the two modules are identical. They both import static content.

The reason this module exists is UI. Import HTML is great if you have an XML expert and you want to do a massive 1000+ page import of all the site content.

This is aimed at sites with a sub 500 import rate where you need to verify each page hand by hand.

I know it sounds like the same outcome, but the context is so different the user interface can afford to be drastically simpler and so much easier to use.

Ah, ok gotcha. Like I said, I'm not using either module, so I guess I'm just being nosey :)

Just thought they sounded similar and thought others "in the market" might appreciate a comparison/explanation. Thanks Lewis!
