dlr commentedI did it, if you are interrested just contact me http://drupal.org/user/34876/contact
Regards
Comment #3
mfer commentedCan you post the code for the upgrade?
dlr commentedtargz files are not allowed in comments. The upgrade consist in 3 files (.install, .info and .module).
mfer commentedCan you contact me in private (http://drupal.org/user/25701/contact) so I can get the files from you? I already sent you an email. I would like to get those files from you.
Thanks.
Christefano-oldaccount commenteddir, can you upload the files one by one? It's clunky, yes, and it would be great to have a single .tgz file, but it's common to see multiple postings in project issue queues.
jwilde commentedThanks for the update to 5.0.
I'm having some problems with it on one site where I'm running php5.
* warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in /home/mysite/public_html/includes/menu.inc on line 415.
* warning: Missing argument 1 for drupal_get_form() in /home/mysite/public_html/includes/form.inc on line 49.
* warning: Missing argument 1 for drupal_retrieve_form() in /home/mysite/public_html/includes/form.inc on line 179.
* warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, '' was given in /home/mysite/public_html/includes/form.inc on line 218.
Is any one else se this?
Thanks,
jim

dlr commentedI sent my code to the maintainer. Just wait and see.

abramo commentedany news on this matter?
is there any code available (privately?) at this moment that works?
abramo commentedseems to me people are developing code for their own use, unwilling to share it with anybody else, against Drupal spirit. if people are unwilling to share, what is the point of announcing here??? - better to keep this fact to themselves - and not post here. not necessary. if you wish to do things privately just do it by PM.
mfer commentedI had a copy of this but I accidentally deleted this. The problem is that the maintainer isn't updating to the patched code and the person who updated it didn't take over or ask to take over as maintainer.
I'll see if I can get my hands on the updated code.
abramo commented@mfer : thanks, that would be very useful to anybody reading this thread : did the code actualy work? I am willing to provide a download link for drupal members to get the code in the future, if it is too complicated to arrange this through drupal (as maintainer seems uninterested, for the time being).
mfer commentedIf the current maintainers (see list here) aren't interested than we need a new maintainer. I am not using that module at this time nor do I have the time to do it myself.
Is there anyone out there who wants to apply to maintain this module? If so contact me and I'll help you through the process.
abramo commentedI do not have the necessary knowledge to do anything about this myself - otherwise I would gladly volunteer to do this. hope somebody may turn up willing to help - but I am not holding my breath . . . .
mfer commentedThis could be a great opportunity for someone to learn. There is the drupal dojo (http://groups.drupal.org/drupal-dojo). There is an existing and established module. There is an update guide for modules (http://drupal.org/node/64279). I think I see an opportunity here.....
moonray commentedHere's a working patch to version 5.
abramo commentedwhat a surprise : thanks!!
is this a patch for HEAD ?
moonray commentedYes, this is a patch against HEAD.
And you're welcome. :-)
moonray commentedThe trash icon wasn't using the proper link. Updated patch attached.
abramo commentedregrettably, I have to report that the patch does not work : meaning that it fails to patch HEAD - not that module does not function : this test has to come after HEAD may be patched. please look into this : thanks.
styro commentedHi guys, this should be a working Drupal 5 patch for Bookmarks HEAD. I removed the failing hunk - it didn't seem to be changing anything anyway.
When I say 'working', I mean the patch applies - not that I've tested whether the actual code works properly :)
abramo commentedunfortunately, while the patching process works fine, the update does not work for me.
but the update to 5.x provided by TheCrow, avaialble here, works perfectly.
mfer commentedDoes someone want to get commit access to this module and update it?
csc4 commentedIt would be great to have a proper bookmark v5
Comment #28
mfer commentedSomeone who uses this module want to contact the developer (http://drupal.org/user/16822) and request access to the project to update the source and add a 5-x release?
TheCrow commentedI have send a email at owner of this project for write a new version on cvs repository, your answer is to publish the patch for your next evaluation and submit of 5.x release and i have published.
