Compact view works with grouped images but Node title still displays per image in view.

Have cck image field set to multiple and 'Select Imagefield grouping in Views' to Group by field name. If selecting 'Compact view' a single image shows and when clicking you will be able to see all of the images in the group (<>). However the Node title is still displayed for each image in the group instead of just once when looking at the initial view output (before clicking on the single displayed image). Have tried to looking around for a setting on this but nothing seems to work. If you have the Node title in your fields view settings and select a Compact view for multiple images from a node you will get multiple node titles displayed. Is this normal or a bug? Is there a workaround?
