Hi, I'm putting together a Drupal site and need to be able to set a banner style image for each of my primary links. What I want to achive is that if a visitor browses and page under the About Us primary link they see the About Us banner. If they browse any pages under the Events primary link they see the events banner. I realise I could do this within the template but it would be nice to be administerable. Are there any modules to do this?
Thanks,
Ben

That looks good but
That looks good but the images aren't ads as such....just an image related to the section...

Some combination of CCK and a custom block?
I'm needing something similar... I'm looking to have for one site, an image related to what page you're on, and on another site, a sidebar that pulls a teaser from another page as specified.
I'm thinking I could use a combination of a few things to get this working (but any ideas would be helpful):
1) Create a new field in my pages of type "node reference"
2) On the page that I want to add a sidebar / image to, select a node (could be an image, using the image module) using my new field.
3) Then I create a custom block that reads the added CCK field, and spits out the referenced node (templated in the way that I want it -- either as just an image in your case, or as a teaser in my case).
#1 and #2 are already done -- but I need to do a bit more research about #3. Any one have any ideas, or are interested in working with me on this?
Best AdServer
You should better use an adserver like OpenAds 2.3 formally known as phpAdsNew to manage your ads. its gr8 adserver pack, easy to use and manage the whole ads content and even channels. apart frm BannerAds it also manages multimedia ads and keeps a complete track of clicks...
