How to recreate
1. Install Galleria module
2. Added image field to a content type
3. Changed display setting to use Galleria.
4. When tried to view the node, none of the images showed up. Path of image was wrong.

Quick work around:
Go to admin/config/media/file-system and just save the configuration without any changes.

This problem is solved by this patch #1082882-8: Public/private paths and using the image styles
