User still sent to terms of use node upon login, even if module is uninstalled

If you use this module and then uninstall it completely, it still sends the user to the terms of use node when he logs in, even if that node is unpublished. This is apparently happening because the file terms_of_use.install fails to remove the "ld_url_destination" entry from the "variable" table. Manually deleting the record is the only way to fix the problem, aside from patching terms_of_use.install.
