In README file is mentioned that you have to enable simplemenu with permission "view simplemenu". In D7 version there is no such item in permission page. When I log in as other role as admin, I can see administration menu (Administration menu module) so I think I have set permission correctly. I see simplemenu as adminstrator, but not as custom created role user.

I just noticed this as well. There are no permissions settings available in the current D7 dev version

It still had the D6 _perm hook instead of _permission. Could you check this patch? Thanks!
