Where is the "default location" for the favicon.ico file?

I have Appearance - > pixture_reloaded theme set to use "default" location for favicon.ico and logo.png. My logo in /sites/all/themes/pixture_reloaded/logo.png is displayed, but my favicon.ico file in the same directory isnt working (and Drupal is reporting a 404). I'd like to put it here: /sites/all/themes/pixture_reloaded/logo.png how do I do that.

Chris, the default location for favicon.ico is the 'misc' folder. If you uncheck 'Use the default shortcut icon' in your theme settings, you can upload your favicon.ico to the location of your choosing.
