Improve currency display [#1121342]

Greetings ...

There are very few places that display currency with all it's details, like currency symbol, placed correctly (prefix/suffix), precision, decimal point, thousand separator.

I have made a basic patch that improves on this. Still need to work a little on the patch, but I was hoping I might get some feed backup.

Made an updated patch, that really works for alignment, which is really just css. Still would like to improve the display with currency symbol, placement and precision, decimal point, thousand separator.

Hope this helps other people too.
