Same for me. But I find that this is an unnecessary module. Maybe if you don't want the shared url to be that of the current page this module could be useful, otherwise its much simpler to get the <script> code from linkedin and put it in a block.

ransomweaver commentedThe patch works. Place the patch in the linkedinbutton dir and do patch < linkedinbuttons-doc-1121974.patch at the terminal in that directory.
However the patched module does not.
1) need to delete the part of .info after and including
; Information added by drupal.org packaging script on 2010-12-01
in order for it to run on D7
2) Then after configuring it at #overlay=admin/config/content/linkedinbutton the module still doesn't put the share button anywhere.
