I've upgraded one of my sites from 4.7 to 5.0. The site has a gallery of about 200 pictures. Now when viewing the gallery only the name of the file shows. Thumbnails and full images don't appear. The files are still there. Where do I begin to look to solve this problem? Thanks!

Hi,
i have the same problem after update! There are no picture in the textareas and in the gallery!
If i attached a image to a textfield i see it in the field but after i save the page there is no image viewed.
By modify the textfield you see the image! Strange?!
And in the webform there shows no fields!

it could be your input format wherein images are not allowed to be viewed

same here, I guess it's because Image Module and/or Upload Image module not installed (depending on which on do you use)when I upgraded to 5.0

I didn't install Image Module and Image Assistant Module yet since they are in dev states.

Upload Image hasn't been ported to 5.0 as the time of the writing but it would pretty soon. Last time I check Killles was working on it.

I've lost files since the upgrade. And cannot upload any files via the gui. Have to manually upload via my server. Anybody know what to do? Cheers...

I had done two things simultaneously and then Most of my images were lost
upgrade form 4.6 to 5.1 and
at the same time I had to move webhosters.

My problems were solved when I did not just give read and write permissions on the files/images directory - - - but also execution rights to all

Now everything is working fine!! galeries image assist ALL..

Hi All

I am seeing the same thing - I can't work out what is happening. Have tried latest CVS too and still the same. Have removed all of my modules and it's still the same. Will have to remove image module completely and all my images and reimport them if can't fix this soon.

Currently running 5.1 stable everything

- No errors in log
- "Image" does not appear in node/add screen
- DOES appear under the create content menu item ???
- If I try and edit an existing image - I can but don't see the image and the browse section is empty (as if this is just a plain old node)
- The gallery just shows the image title.

It's as if Drupal has lost it's associate with image nodes - but from looking at the DB - everything looks fine.

I upgraded from drupal 4.7 to 5.3 and most of my images "broke" in the same way as well...

Could this be the same issue?? A quick fix solution was suggested by arh1, which I'm yet to try...
