Nivo Slider for Drupal 7 & Views 3: multiple images from one node

Hi there,

I've been having a similar problem with Views 3 and image sliders, has anyone found any further documentation on implementing Views 3 (I've been looking but can't seem to see any, anywhere...)

E.g. I have been following along with this tutorial: http://www.brightwebsitedesign.com/how-to-install-views-slideshow-module...

And it's all good until we get to 'add View') Part 7, where views totally deviates. Anyway, if there's a thread discussing this, and I'm missing it, then it would be great to read it.

I will definitely create new tutorial for the Drupal7 version of this module. But you may have noticed that the module is still not stable or not recommended for a production site and there may be changes in this module or in views3 these are the reasons tells me to wait a bit more to create the Druapl7 version tutorial.

In the mean time, try to find maximum bugs and suggest improvements for this great module.

Thanks for getting back to us, and thanks for the original tutorial. If I was a bit more experienced I'd probably be able to work out the difference in terminology between Views 2 and 3! Totally keep us posted if you ever get around to putting a tutoral together.

Looking forward to a D7 tutorial. If I can learn this module, it may solve several issues that I've been struggling with.

Subscribing :) I've got a site going live by the 25th of May and this module would be great to have on the homepage. At the moment I've got the gallery formatter in its place but I know my client would much prefer a slider that can link to content so i'm really looking forward to the Drupal 7 with Views 3 tutorial too!

Well done rizedr, I was just going to mention this, and you got there first:)

Using the above and dinhdesigns, I got mine working. No need to faff with the core and works across all browsers. I'm in the process of working out how to add a text field across the image, if I come up with a solution I'll post here.

I imagine someone may beat me to it!

Thanks mar111. The video at http://vimeo.com/31607234 helped a lot. Earlier, I spent hours together trying out Views+Slideshow combination with the lengthy tutorial available online but it did not work. This video shows installation on spanish version with spanish voice but is understandable. I have tried this and slideshow works fine, was able to pull it through in spite of not getting a single word in Spanish. Thanks again!
