I used to be able to set a marker for each node type that would then appear in the node location gmap but the choices have disappeared. Where the variables still exist in my variables table the custom markers appear for the types i'd already set them for, but now i've come back to add some more a few gmap versions later and i can't find the options anymore - have they moved/gone/or am i having a stupid moment and i'm looking in the wrong place...?

Have you checked the gmap location module, it is part of the current 5.x series of gmap module, it might exist in 4.7.

Too bad nobody has helped you since then.

In 5.x, I believe this moved to location settings... I don't know about 4.7 though.
