Hi,
I am using
cck-6.x-3.x-dev and date 6.x-2.x-dev to create new content type for my project.
However, I am facing issue with setting the granularity:-
1) If I select granularity other then Year i get error saying "Granularity must include a year."
2) If I select granularity as Year and Month I get error saying
"Granularity field has to have maximum 1 values."
Hence I am forced to set the granularity to "Year": this in turn sets the format as Year and only value that i get is year

lantha commentedI am trying to use the 7.x-2.0-alpha1 version of the Date module and I am facing the same problem. Is this an issue with the module or I am not using the module correctly. If I select month/day (single field except year) the error says "Granularity must include a year." and if I select year, month and day (multiple values) the error says "Granularity field has to have maximum 1 values."

karens commentedPlease do not combine problems from different versions in the same issue. This is an issue about the D6 version of the code.

Mariano commentedSubscribing, using CCK 2.9
Comment #7
Mariano commentedNevermind... in case it helps, my problem was the Clientside validation module, triggering the error before the configuration would even be saved. So if any of you have that module enabled, disable it and try it again, that may be the problem.

tomdavidson commented@Mariano thanks for updating the thread. Disabling Client Side Validation while editing the content type worked for me as well.

attiks commentedsubscribing and confirming it's a problem with clientside validation
Comment #10
attiks commentedI can not reproduce this on admin/content/node-type/page/fields/field_mydate using:
Drupal 6.20
CCK 2.9
clientside_validation 1.x

tomdavidson commentedHello, to avoid double post and because the issues seem related, I will post over at #1153158: Does not recognize multiple value selections

attiks commented@akyla if you still have this problem please create a new issue, if you're not using clientside_validation create it at http://drupal.org/project/cck
