Drop shadow does not always size to element correctly

Issue Summary

I have tried clearing all cache on both Drupal and browsers but when moving from page to page, my .content-area element class resizes, depending on the amount of content. This is when the drop shadow shows up incorrectly.

Is there a way to rebuild the drop shadow on page load?
