Issue Summary
Hello,
fb is really a great module! But still dev release. Any plans for a first alpha/ beta or stable release?
Best regards

My priority is to get a stable 6.x-3.0 release first, and there are some blocker issues preventing that right now.
D7 stable release will take some time after that. Any help upgrading the modules not yet upgraded would be appreciated.
Right now, you can probably use the 7.x-3.x branch for Facebook Connect and Canvas Pages without much problem, but know you're on the bleeding edge.

Hello Dave,
at the moment a searching for a way to post drupal content to a fanpage and add some social features (like buttons).
Maybe I should searching for (nearly) stable solutions, but for the future the features here looks very interesting...

Should post from Drupal to a facebook fanpage stable/useable? Or isn't ported to D7 module yet?

It would be nice to have a stable release to provide site builders more certainty that the module will get an SA for any security issues. It would be great to even get a beta if not a full 7.x-3.0. Please update the issue summary to include links to issues to fix prior to that release.
As of this post, there are ~30 critical bugs in the queue.
You can use the tag D7 stable release blocker to help others identify issues that are blocking a stable release. Currently there are zero issues with that tag.

Hi all,
I am willing to sponsor some major part of this effort in order to see it working. this module is very important for many site owners.
I really don't think this is a money issue, it's all about priority management.
Not A Facebook fan myself, but I would love to see this module getting the needed attention - this is very critical to the total success of the Drupal CMS. It needs to be integrated very tightly with Facebook.
We are running couple of high volume content sites and total traffic gain from Facebook is increasing every day.
The days that people used to have many users names for many sites are over, FB connect is the new "de facto" standard for users to login. sites that has FB connect login option converts traffic to registered users 5 times better with same traffic - trust me on this one as i needed to double check it myself when i saw it first on site statistics.
Create stable 7.x release of fb (Drupal for facebook) is very good for business and the ecosystem of Drupal.
How do we take it from here? a bounty? chip-in? co-maintainers? I'm willing to try them all as this is very important.

I am also willing to sponsor this! I need it to work for my site to be successful. It is not some kind of fun little project. Please fit it, we will pay.
