Quoting Mikey_p from: https://redhen.thinkshout.com/issues/51

I think our two best options here are Migrate (http://drupal.org/project/migrate) and Feeds (http://drupal.org/project/feeds).

I'm going to try to look at both, although my current bias is towards Migrate becuase: 1) I think it's a bit further along for Drupal 7 2) I think it's more testing for large datasets (millions of records on examiner.com) 3) I think it's feature set more closely aligns with what we need to do.

My only concern is that I think part of it's UI has been removed, and it may require drush to run it. In spite of this we may want to consider writing a UI if it's feature more closely match our needs.

Mikey_p,

Personally, I'd lean the other way, towards Feeds. If we want to see RDF become more prominent in the CRM space, it's probably a better direction. Plus, there are likely other RedHen contrib modules down the road that would likely also require Feeds integration (say, pulling in Tweets for CRM contacts, grabbing the titles of blog posts on 3rd-party sites, etc.)

Just a thought.

Also, should add that one of first import formats should be CSV.
