Using a custom content type with CCK location fields, I am unable to save a checkout node correctly. I can create the node, and it adds to cart correctly. I can check out all the way to "submit order" correctly. However, instead of the node being saved as a checkout node, Location module deletes the node with the above referenced error. This only happens on Checkout nodes. All other nodes save correctly.

Any ideas?

Using the latest versions of D6.

I also tried it with the latest stable version and the same result.

Sounds like there's a module conflict here, but I don't have time to investigate. If anyone works it out please re-open.
