I've been attempting to integrate this module for some time. I run a WAMP server that I switch from PHP4 to PHP5 from time to time in order to test for compatibility. While working under PHP4, my HTTP server would severely crash when navigating to a different part of the site, and without logging any error. This would only occur when the module was enabled (under a clean 4.7 Drupal install). However, when I switch the server config to PHP5 everything runs smoothly. Could possibly be windows?

I've tested both Drupal 4.7 and 5.0 installations now on PHP 4.3.11, 4.4.4 and 5.1.6 on Windows Server 2003, but was not able to reproduce any Apache (2.0.54) crash.

However, this module does nothing special that isn't done by other modules. I can only guess you're running an unstable version of PHP.

Without further information this issue can't be solved. I'm not able to reproduce it. Marking as by design.
