This is nice work that is not hard to do. If you are more of a css person and fear there is too much PHP involved: don't fear. There is basically only one function to integrate the styles into Advanced Forum. Michelle and me will help you to get up to speed quickly so you can concentrate on the design and theming work.

Hi - I'm neither a CSS or PHP coder, but I have the need to theme our user forum and believe I successfully converted the minimal style for compatibility with Advanced Forum 2.x, as a starting point for my own theme residing outside of the AF folder.

I have only tested it with drupal 7.2 and AF 7.x-2.x-dev, but I suspect it would just work just fine with DP6 and AF 6.x-2.x, obvious project dp core flag adjustments notwithstanding.

I can upload here for review if useful, and possibly take on the project as maintainer, though I'd need to know what's involved first and what would be expected of me in that role.

I'm had a look at the issue tracker and discussion about this project... I agree with Michelle, that it is very easy to 'plug' a forum style in AF 2.x, so I personally don't see a need for Advanced Forum More Styles, at least in any environment I could test. So I'll have to pass on the idea. Still the minimal theme is a very good basic style, so I will upload my version of it to a separate thread.

Good luck with the search!

@RogueM yeah, the project can actually be seen rather as a proof of concept how to do a style. Since it can be at least of some use, unlike other dead projects, I won't delete it from d.o. for now.
