Authorship on LDO

Supposing the content was transfered to ldo with the agreement of a sufficient number of contributors, the easiest way to restore attribution would be to edit the profile of the "drupaler.ru" user (http://localize.drupal.org/user/148949) to list the initial contributors (a partial list can be found at http://drupaler.ru/translate/languages/ru). There is absolutely no reason to restore ownership of each individual translation.

There is only 1 author in ru-l.d.o team with removed copyrights - ellectronc ~1400 strings - my letter to her was moved to spam(crazy gmail) and she didn`t know about migration at all. I`m sorry about that but I have no idea how to fix it on l.d.o and I`m ready for discussion about it if there are any possibility to fix it on production (l.d.o)

pvasili - not answered(despite many others from RU group at drupaler) on my mail at a time when I collected a list of authors want migrate their "numbers" from drupaler to l.d.o. Rules were "NO ANSWER - NO COPYRIGHT" and pvasili read my letter but not answered. Period!
BTW - access for "drupaler.ru" account at l.d.o was send to pvasili after migration done.

I give more than 6 weeks to decide "want or no" . Sorry, but how can I know about pvasili if there were no any letters from him about that? (there were many other letters in our conversation during migration process)

All the work was not stealed from drupaler.ru - andypost is one of the co-maintainers of drupaler.ru and dump was given to me by him after common decision at drupaler.ru via group poll.

I am ready for fixing this if there is a way to do such string reorganization at l.d.o database.

As mentioned restoring attribution can be as simple as mentioning the original authors on the drupaler.ru user profile page. But that's not the only question here: pvasili is suggesting that you infringed his copyright by moving the translations to ldo.

By the way, the license of the translations on ldo is not very clear at this point. We are redistributing the translations in the localized Drupal distribution, assuming they are GPL, but there is nothing explicitly mentioning that they are.

There are no any possibilities to delete drupaler.ru account and import strings without troubles at all - old strings mostly overridden by community members and very "simple" way - just delete drupaler.ru account and all the strings from it
You think I have to do that? No! I do not think so! I don't wanna be responsible for the garbage in translation we can get after such deletion. As for me - Damien Tournoud are right - at drupaler.ru profile at L.D.O a list of initial contributors is a very very good idea and I am voting for it. Dou You?

I did all to protect drupaler.ru(pvasili ownership BTW) copyrights with personal contact to every member from drupaler.ru and give mostly(50+) "thanks" and only 2 "not thanks" from active members.
All, who give me directly "yes" transfered 1to1 from drupaler.ru website into l.d.o. All who not - completely transfered to into one, self-named account. It is my decision, which was send to pvasili before migration itself without any prohibition!!!

I think it is - well done. Yes, I am a man, one from those peoples who are not perfect and still can do errors in my work (who doesn't?) and I'm sorry for that.

2pvasili - drupaler.ru is in Your hands, I have no idea why this issue still opened despite any other, something like (Please. do delete drupaler.ru strings from database cause I'm an owner of them and want to remove it from l.d.o). May be I can do it for You? Just tell me that.

Migration - done, group at drupaler.ru still opened and as I see - translations at drupaler.ru are very different from l.d.o and still growing

Guys between #1136910: Request for deletion drupaler.ru account from l.d.o and all the strings from it and #1129872: Authorship on LDO I don't see that there is any agreement whatsoever as to what should be done here. Should I drop the Russian group from localize.drupal.org and make it look like Drupal does not support Russian so you can continue your disputes and maybe come back for Drupal 8 in a couple years or something? I'm really not seeing any good direction here and its been years of discussion already! (Ref: #564794: Add Russian language to l.d.o).

Moving this issue to the new l.d.o project.
