I have installed the rate module. How do I get the rate vote number, e.g. the number after "funny," "angry," or "mad"? (See the picture on http://drupal.org/node/899826.)
I looked in the database, and I found a column named "value" in the votingapi_vote table that stores it.
Is there a function, or a simple way to get the vote number?

Drupal 6 is no longer supported. Closing old issues to clean up the issue queue.

Please reopen and update this issue if this is still an issue in the D7 or D8 version.
