I am using menu icons module and the moment I add an icon to the Login menu it starts appearing even after I log in. The logout menu on the other side only shows up when I'm logged in even if an icon is attached to it. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

I just tried to reproduce this in a test site by installing Menu Icons and adding an icon to the Login menu item, but I was not able to reproduce the result. My Login menu dutifully stays away when I'm logged in and shows the icon when I'm logged out.

This has probably been fixed by some other update in either Account Menu or Menu Icons. I'm marking this as fixed, but feel free to re-open it if you still see this behavior.
