silverwing commentedNote, I haven't read the post yet, this comment is just about images.
Please read the image guidelines on http://drupal.org/node/280488 - especially the file size part. Also, the images look the same - if you can take specific parts of the site that you're writing about and use an image to illustrate the text, that might be better.

jgavin commentedThanks for the link, it had more info than the other page I was looking at. I am attaching the updated screenshots to fit the size restrictions and I also took different screenshots to make them look different.

jgavin commentedQuestion - Am I able to code the screenshots into the Case Study now? I tried to, but they did not show up when I hit 'preview'. Will they show up when I hit 'save'?, I just didnt want to create another revision if nothing changed. Thanks,

silverwing commentedA webmaster will change the input format for you to add the images (you can't), but we wont do that until your post has been reviewed and and changes that need to be made are done.

jgavin commentedThanks for that info Silverwing.
Im not aware what a typical timeline is for reviewing and placing a case study on the homepage. But if a webmaster has some available time to review the CoolFords case study, Id be happy to work with them on making changes to the case study language as to update the document for a better read for Drupal viewers.

silverwing commentedThoughts:
1. Nice looking site!
2. I personally see Promoted sites as a teaching/learning tool, if you could pick something and add more details (like the video encoding section), it would be a great learning experience for users.
3. On your screenshots, I'd suggest picking a couple elements of your writeup and grab screenshots of just that - more focused on a point without the sidebar. (And add tags to the post so we know where the pics go.)
4. You talked about your search system on the site. Did you use anything beyond the basic search? Can you expand a bit more on that?
5. You wrote under the "Speed" section
This should be reworded to make some sense ;)
6. There are a couple other typos that we can get to later.

jgavin commented@Silverwing - thanks for your comments, sorry for the delay. I have made a few more updates:
-My developer helping me was super busy but I just received a few updates from him and he has expanded on the speed/video sections.
-I have also updated 2 of the thumbnails which I am attaching now. I have called out a "[TAG]" on the case study where I think they should go.
-I fixed a few minor spelling mistakes
-I linked several of the module call outs to their respective project pages.
Let me know if you have any more comments or suggestions. Thanks!

jgavin commentedCan someone help me add the thumbnails to the Case Study? I have called out "TAG (file name)" where the thumbnails are supposed to go. thanks!
jgavin commentedI posted the thumbnails to the Case Study: http://drupal.org/node/1130986
I believe the case study is ready to go, if any of the editors have some time, i would appreciate any feedback. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to move this process forward. Thanks

tvn commentedWe now got a new case study section: http://drupal.org/case-studies and forum posts not going to be promoted to front page anymore. You can publish a case study for your website (follow guidelines here: http://drupal.org/node/1588136) and then re-open this issue with request for it to be promoted to Featured case studies.
