Vertical tabs recently stopped working for certain content types on my site. It's working normally on some but not on others. Any ideas on why that might be happening?

dlamanti commentedUpdate: I fixed it by clearing the cached data.

nmangold commentedclear the cache.

soelver commentedI have the same problem.
I edited one of my content types, and it broke the vertical tabs, but only on Mac, it seems. One of the other admins sees them as she used to, but she's on Windows.
Have tried to clear my cache, but the problem remains the same.
Have tried another browser, still the same.
Now I tried to edit another content type, to see if it was something specific to the first content type, but it wasn't, so now I have vertical tabs broken in 2 content types :-S The others are still working fine, so now I'm very reluctant to edit any other content type.
I was puzzled over this change all the sudden, so here's my thoughts on what could have caused this:
- another module, since we updated 29 modules this weekend
- I added a group to the first content type I edited, and chose: "Always open". I later deleted that group again. Have tried to re-add it, and then select vertical tabs, but no luck.
My biggest problem is, that not only did it break the vertical tabs, - it broke the functionality too, so now I can't edit any of the things that's in those groups (like author, published and so on).
Any suggestions?

soelver commentedOh, by the way: I have just cleared my cache in my browser. Will I have to delete the sites cache?
We have some heavy traffic, and I would hate to do that, unless that's my only option. Of course, I can be forced to do so, but would just like to know, if you cleared the sites cache to make it go away :)
Sorry if it's a silly question. Have just never experienced anything in Drupal yet, that would force me to clear the sites cache.

stevecowie commentedI was having a similar problem so I downloaded the 6.x-1.0-dev version and also cleared the admin setting for including new fieldsets be default in vertical tabs. I now have a list of available fieldsets and when I configure those and then save the content type, the vertical tabs are restored. I'm guessing this might relate to an issue about standardising the behaviour between vertical tabs for Drupal 6 and 7.

soelver commentedThank you. Will try to download the dev version, and see if that helps :)

soelver commentedDidn't make any difference to upload the dev version, but to see if it was related to my user or mac in general, I logged in as another user, and there was no problem. So guess the problem really is the site cache, but just for my user/profile. Weird. There's a first time for every thing, and I'm learning something new every day :)

soelver commentedJust a quick follow-up: We updated jQuery (either jQuery update or jQuery UI - can't remember, sorry) to newest version. Problem finally solved :) Not sure what was wrong, but it worked.
