The attached patch adds an API function media_add_js() which adds MediaElement JS settings and dependent JS files. It also updates README.txt with usage details.

This comes about after I tried to implement the module for a custom text field and found the documentation in README.txt confusing, ambiguous and with some minor errors. Let me know if you need more detail. I am available on IRC.
