this is not a request, just simple suggestions.
Perhaps you don't know the Multimedia Element module : http://drupal.org/project/aef_multimedia_element
It was created by a french media France 24/RFI. With Multimedia Element you can integrate some media blocks with carousels effect. It could be a good complement of the fact content type in Nodestream.
Of course we could add this module by ourselves, but perhaps Nodestream developpers could be interested in integrating it by default in Nodestream.

Here is the description of Multimedia Element module :
It allows you to create blocks (not drupal blocks) containing stories (inserted manually, automatically, semi-automatically with Easy View), carousels of stories, text, photos, diaporamas (including lightbox diapos), video, twitter, table, ... And you can embed these blocks directly into your story with a nifty FckEditor plugin.
