I did a clean install of Drupal 5.
Created a new content type with CCK named "test" and made the default "Promoted to front page" and NOT "Published"

Made a subscription for 9.99 per month named it Gold
Created a Paid Advert for the Gold Package.

My problem is when I login Into my site as a demo user.
Create content "test"
Submit the content
It goes away from the demo user. only time they see the option to pay for it is after submitting.
If you do not pay for it then you cannot find the content as demo
Only the admin account can see it in the Que.

Demo user has Create, Edit Own rights on the demo content.

My goal was for users to pay to post the "demo" content type and when they login see what they posted and is not published so they can pay. Current setup you could only pay directly after creating the content.

I wanted to add that if I change the custom content type to "published" after submitted it will show the post in the users profile as unpublished but the front page will have the post. It gets published even if they do not pay. At the bottom of the node it will have the words "not published"

I do not have the answer to your question unfortunately.

But I wonder how you set up the "test". Can we run a "test" for a payment module on a local server please?
