Hi!
I am new to Drupal. I recently installed this module for my forums. The problem is that although Smileys option is displayed while posting a comment, it doesn't replace ascii in the preview or the submitted version. I am using the example set. The example folder has the file example.pak and all the gif emotions. I am using the pushbutton theme.

I dont know if its really a bug or just some settings issue. :-(

You need to enable filter for smileys in Administer > Site configuration > Input format and enable Smileys filter per format.
