Like this module since it gives some kind of quality control over avatars.

I thought perhaps this was a good module to incorporate an open source avatar editor, like my avatar editor:

'My Avatar Editor' is the name of the software btw, I didn't make it ;-)

Looks like it's been unpublished due to Nintendo copyright or similar claims. In any case, I think that idea would be better developed as a standalone module. Closing.
