I am new to Drupal and so please bear with me if this is so obvious to you.

I am using Drupal 6.20.

The website is going to have videos, audios, flash, and images.

I want to upload and store these files as nodes so that I can easily group them or reuse them via views or other means for any purpose in the future. I need to assign metadata to these files (I know how to do this). I also need to be able to embed these files anywhere in a node content and I should be able to specify attributes for embedded file such as size for a video.

I read many posts, looked at many modules and did many tests, but have not figured or found out a set of satisfactory modules that suit my needs.

I really appreciate any ideas, pointers, or suggestions to help me out.

Can any guru out there give me some tips?

In my organization, there is a proprietary CMS that can basically do the thing I am hoping to achieve with Drupal.

We are hoping to get rid of that CMS and move to Drupal.

I played with this module. It is a nice web media player, but it still cannot
meet the requirements I mentioned in my original post.

I really wish to hear from Drupal gurus here.
