rating incorporation in the inline image view on node

Is there an easy way to combine image upload and a voting module so the images will have average rating and rating capability below them.

ie, I would like to give users the option of rating [using the star system] the images as they appear on the bottom of the node WITHOUT having to click each image, going to the image node and rating the image and then having to retunn back to the original page with all thumbnails.

in short, i would like to have the image upload module combine with voting module [or any other rating module] to include a rating system under the image where the user can see the present rating and rate all thumbnails on the page without having to actually click the image and then rate and come back to the page with all the thumbnails againl.
